Deletion

This blog will be deleted. Or kept so I can see it. Cause I like the stories and stuff. I'm sorry. No one comes on, and I can't keep up this blog by myself. Good-bye. I will leave this open for anyone to see, but there will be no more posts. Good-bye. I may post here now and then, but I doubt it.

Really Sorry

Sorry! I guess....I just forgot and don't have anything to post. Miranda isn't ever going to put something on here....I think we're just going to delete this place. I might remake it again in the summer....when we have more time. But we don't have much time right now. I'll post some artsy stuff we have done, then that might be all....

This is a hat we created back in November. It was for this hat contest. Me and Miranda made it together, and for two people. Underneath are two holes where I heads go. We won the contest out of the Intermediates. The hat took a long time and was hard work, but we did it, and had fin on the way. In the end the hat looked really good. Around the front we made a train, and then there was snow around the bottom and presents. As you can see it is a Christmas tree, all decorated. It was cool.

This is just something we made. Miranda made the flower, the heart, and the "live, laugh, love". I made the turtle...lol. If you have realized, we did make them out of pipe cleaners.

This is a little drawing we whipped up. We used "pipe cleaner feather pens" to draw with. My pen was a little better made then  Miranda's, and it worked better too.

Well, that's all I have for now. I might have more, but I don't know where it would be.

How to Write a Haiku Poem

How to Write a Haiku Poem

Haiku is a way to express your feelings or interest. It’s a Japanese tradition, usually symbolizing a part in nature to express how they feel. It has soon evolved into different meanings around the world. People make it be about anything they want, about important matters or not, though it is still traditional in Japan. Haiku Poems have only three lines. Here is how to write a Haiku Poem:

Warning
Writing a Haiku may result in emotional disorder.

  1. The first step on how to get you poem up and running is- Pick a topic that may interest you for this first step. This topic shall not be too complicated to understand.
  2. Delicately choose appropriate words to use. Make a very long, but short summery about this so called “topic”, using words that fit this topic.
  3. For a Haiku, the first line should only have 5 syllables. If anymore, it will not be a proper poem, in which there has to be some precise writing.  Example-Dreams can come true now, 5 syllables.
  4. The second line has 7 syllables, in which, for a Haiku, has to have perfect result in different wording structures. Example- Wherever the wind blows through, 7 syllables
  5. The third and final line has exactly 5 syllables. Much like the first line, but this line finishes off this poem. Make sure this last line in perfect and has no flaws.  Example- To make us believe. 5 syllables
  6. The completed Haiku must have 17 syllables in total, or thus this poem is a failure to those who can’t even write three simple lines.
  7. Finally, for those who can write this Haiku, add a title to this splendid master piece we call haiku!

Important
Don’t over write or your brain will be locked in a Haiku language.

Christmas!

I will not be posting for this week! But after words I will try to have something to show you all!

Have fun on your Christmas!  I actually have a story to share with you all! Hope you enjoy the short story I had to do in Gr. 6! Presenting-Wrong

Wrong

“You are so not fair!” Casey yelled at her dad, Mr. Darna. Casey quickly yelled before Mr. Darna could respond.
“Ever since mom died you haven’t let me do anything! You’ve changed!” Mr.Darna shot his silver/blue eyes at Casey defiantly.
“I may have changed! But only the way I care for you! I already lost your mom; I don’t want to lose you!” Mr. Darna quickly shot at Casey fiercely. Casey stared back.
“It’s just a simple field trip with the school! Nothing will happen! You are too protective! I am 15! I can take care of myself. All of my friends are going; Shelby, Caylee, Lea…” Casey lowered her eyes in anger. She hated arguing with her dad. She knew he was right. She was all he had since mom died two years ago in a horrible car crash. He was also all she had, too.
When Casey looked up, Mr.Darna’s eyes were clouded over with grief.
“I told you once Casey. I’m sorry but I will not let you go on that trip…I don’t care if the school will be there. I don’t care…” Mr.Darna numbly turned and walked away. Casey watched her dad walk to his room. Casey furiously ran outside.
She looked upwards and closed her eyes. Then she felt a drop hit her closed eye. She opened her eyes, dazed. Then she whispered to the sky,
“I know you would have let me go. Mom, no matter what, I will try to get dad back on course… back on course in life…” Casey spun around in contentment. She wasn’t angry any more. She was focused on her new promise.
 Casey looked up at the small house. She saw that her dad’s window was closed and dark. Casey sighed and nodded. She knew what she was about to do was wrong, but she needed to do this.
Casey ran inside and grabbed the phone. She dialed Shelby’s phone number. It rang once, then twice, and then she heard Shelby on the other end.
“Hey! Shelby, I need your help.” Casey quickly told Shelby her plan. She then hung up and quietly went to the garage. She grabbed her bike and carried it through the house, as not to disturb her dad and ruin her plan.
Soon she was on her bike, pedaling through the pounding rain. Casey looked around; she was about a mile away from where she was meeting Shelby. Casey sighed then whispered a prayer of hope.
As she was finishing the prayer, tears started to cloud her vision. She tried to shake them off, but then she spun her bike to the left. Casey screamed as her bike fell sideways onto her. Casey slid across the ground, and her bike landed on top of her. She tried to get up but the bike was constricting her, she was having trouble breathing.
 Casey looked around but no one was there. Casey tried to scream but nothing came out. Then she started muttering to herself.
“Maybe this is it. By the time my dad realizes I’m gone, I’ll be dead. Won’t I?” Casey whispered in pure anguish. This was the one time that she wanted her dad to take care of her. She looked around once more gravely. Casey then felt a sharp pain in her head, she breathed in quickly then she blacked out…

Casey woke to here a car speeding up to her. Casey tried to get up, but exhaustion gripped her muscles. Casey strained her eyes in fear. She then relaxed to see the familiar car. The car screeched to a stop, and Mr. Darna stumbled out, his face frozen with terror. He looked at Casey and ran over, Casey looked into his heart-broken face.
“I-I’m sorry dad. I shouldn’t have left. It’s entirely my fault. I’m sorry.” Casey’s words shook as she forced herself to speak. But there was no anger in Mr. Darna’s face.
“Casey. It’s all right. I-I’m sorry to. I was wrong to treat you like that. Especially, if I knew your school would be there. I should’ve trusted you. But I didn’t, and since I didn’t you left in a huge storm, and got hurt. I’m sorry Casey. I really am, but- I think we are even.” Mr. Darna looked at Casey, heartfelt, and slowly lifted the bike off of her. He then carefully picked her up and brought her to the car.
“We are even. Aren’t we? We both did something that wasn’t right. You didn’t trust me and I left in this weather. We’re even. Let’s hope it stays like that.” Casey said dazed. Casey smiled warmly up at her dad. He smiled back.
They both knew that they were wrong. That the past shouldn’t be everything, and never leave in a thunder storm!

My Hero

I am going to post my hero report! But of course change some names! This post won't take long because I will just copy and paste!

My Hero

My hero is an everyday person. He is a normal person, who to some people didn’t do anything. To me, he did everything.

          Mark-Life started on October 29th 1971 and ended on April 26th 2007.

          Mark ********** loved animals and wanted to care for them. He was a vegan and saved street cats in *******. He had a little house the cats could sleep in at night in the winter. A heat lamp was also attached. He would spend as much money as he needed to, to save any cats that came or were hurt.

Mark spent much time and money for these cats that were not his. He saved a cat that was electrocuted. The amount it cost was a lot, but he still went through with it. He spent over one thousand dollars to save this cat. He has true spirit and intentions. He doesn’t care that he has to use his money to save these animals. He just knew that he needed to.

He cared about the environment enough that he never drove, but rode his bike. He wanted to keep our world here, because he loved it as much as the next person would too.

He never did anything special. He was never a big time hero. He wasn’t known by everyone. But he was loved by his family. He cared about a lot of stuff. Enough that he would risk his money to save an animal. He was brave enough to take risks. He loved everything enough to do what he had to do.

A few months before he died, he rescued this little shitzu that ne named Seamus (pronounced Shame-us). This dog was abused, scared and mean. But Mark still adopted him, when others wouldn’t. He most likely saved this dog’s life. Seamus only trusted Mark, no one else. He would bite anyone else who would try to pet him. That shows how badly abused he was. But Mark got through to him. Mark was teaching him how to trust and love life again, like he did.

Mark is my hero because he can do stuff, which I might never be able to do. He can face his fears, but sometimes, fears come crashing down, and you can’t take it anymore. He took a lot of risks and tried to do his best. Mark appreciated all things, nature, animals, and life. He never took anything for granted. People can learn from him. Mark will always be close to my heart and others too. We miss him a lot, he wasn’t ready to go, but maybe he was. I can’t know for sure what he thought, but what he showed, was enough for me.

Once he died, one of his friends did a film about him. He filmed people of Mark’s family, trying to learn more. He got a lot of film done, mostly from my dad, grandma and grandpa. They were closest to him. I don’t know how that film is going today. We have not talked to Mark’s friend for a while. Let’s hope it is going well. Just as life should be.

When life starts then ends, you wonder if life was good. Life will always be good. No matter what problems you run in to. You should face them, not run away. My uncle knew how to do this. But once and only once did he make the wrong choice, to me that is. Life is precious. Hold on to it while you can. Family know this well. A loved one could disappear like that, and then never come back. We should still treasure life while we have it. Because one day, you could wake up, and find out that it isn’t there anymore. Sometimes, life needs a tear or two, don’t be afraid to let your emotions out. My uncle could learn from that. Emotions need to be told, as life needs to be lived. Life starts and ends. Love it.

More Art

Here is a picture I drew a while ago. Yes, it is what I would like my dream horse to look like. But not anymore. The only horse for me is Aladdin! But my old dream horse's name would have been- Storm Spirit!

They are all the same picture, but some are better then others! Enjoy!

New Poem for Contest- Free

Free
-----------------
I was scared the first time;
The second I rode by night;
By the third he had my heart;
After the fourth it was just a steady climb.

The wind blew through the trees;
Creating a harmony among others;
The sun shone high and bright;
Hear the wind blow free;

A chestnut mane whipped around;
Sending flurries of snow everywhere;
There were two, two were free by heart;
They were bound;

I wrote this poem with the second verse of "Aladdin", but added on to it for The Cornet Crazie's poem contest at Treble Clef! I am only entering one poem! It is about me and Aladdin, of course!
